Group services are held with minimum 2 to maximum 5 participant in each session. Sessions are pre-designed in ways to provide a comfortable environment to the participants and maximize their development. Group sessions have proved to be particularly effective for children and teens, especially in terms of empathy building and socialization.
Empathy Building Program
Empathy is the ability to understand and share another person’s feelings and emotions. Resolving conflicts, building effective teams, improving relationship with people around us (at work and personal front) require Empathy as a key skill. The Empathy Building Program, as the name suggests prepares an individual to understand self and others equally and to exhibit empathy in social situations thereby improving their interpersonal skills. The program is tailored based on the age and current level of empathy of the individual/client.
Socialization & Behaviour Management Program
With the increase in nuclear families and indoor time of children, smooth socialization often becomes an issue. The Socialization & Behaviour Management Program focuses on improving social skills of children and behaviour training in social groups. A 10- week program at PLL has shown to render noticeable results in children and enhances their overall social skills.
Personality Development Program
Every individual whatsoever is engaged in a race to carve out a niche for survival and progress. Research has shown that training in technical knowledge alone is not enough. Personality affects success to a great extent. PLL’s Personality Development Program (PDP) provides a holistic training in developing and enhancing life skills for personal and professional success. The program is applicable for adolescents and adults.
Group Counselling Sessions
Group counselling sessions are held when a number of people meet at scheduled time intervals to work on their issues/ problems. These sessions are designed in PLL in such a way that the participants/ clients get a safe and comfortable place to share their concerns. Also, participants understand that they are not alone, which boosts their confidence and promotes improvement in social skills too.
